A new appointment has been made to Positive Cashflow Finance's newly-formed Birmingham office, led by David Totney.
Paul Varley will join the asset based lender's new Midlands office as regional sales director, working alongside Positive's regional managing director Totney.
Varley worked under Totney during his time at independent factoring business Liquidity and subsequently as director of new business at Santander Invoice Finance.
Previously, Varley held roles as client manager at HSBC Invoice Finance and business banking manager at Lloyds TSB.
Positive, which provides finance of up to £1m for companies with a turnover of £100,000 to £10m, announced the launch of its Birmingham operation last month (November).
"It is great to have Paul on board to drive forward our offering in the Midlands," said Totney. "We have had a fantastic response since our launch and look forward to cementing our position in the Midlands business community."
